A little about us...
The Michael Vincent Band is a tight knit group of friends that have been together their entire professional musical careers. All of them are 23 year old musicians that have been playing together for 10 years. Within 3 years of meeting each other they had formed a band together, Michael Vincent and Doubleshot, and they were regulars in the local music scene. The MVB moved to the South following High School Graduation in 2009 to start playing full-time and professionally.
They have made grand steps in their ten year span together. From an early age, they craved the big stage. In 2008, they opened the show for some of their idols Eric Burdon of the Animals and WAR, and the late Jack Bruce of the band Cream at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion at Meadowbrook. Since then they have shared the stage with Blues Legends such as the late Johnny Winter (Plymouth, NH 2014), Eddie Kirkland (Pensacola Beach, FL 2012), Elvin Bishop (Thornton, NH 2010), Tab Benoit (Gulfport, MS 2013), and Dave Mason (Plymouth, NH 2012), one of the original members of Traffic. They have also played some of the most prestigious clubs in the country, including Buddy Guy's Legends Club, Chicago IL; The Bradfordville Blues Club, Bradfordville FL; Hog's Breath Saloon, Key West FL; Ground Zero Blues Club, Clarksdale MS; Bourbon Street Boogie & Blues Bar, Nashville TN; The Florabama, Orange Beach FL; Antone's, Austin TX; and many many others all over the Eastern US.
Playing over 200 dates last year, The Michael Vincent Band has become one of the busiest bands in the Southeast. They have brought on another guitar player for the Summer 2014 tour, opening up a whole new dimension to their music. Local legend from Mobile, Alabama Dwight "Lightning" Everett will be tearing up some additional lead and rhythm guitar with the MVB.
